New nursing lab to open
In the near future the College of Health and Human Services will unveil its new nursing simulation laboratory, made possible by an estate gift by retired nurse Alpheda Knorr.

Donor support Samurai exhibition
National Board of Visitors member Jim Brumm made a gift to support an upcoming exhibition in the Henry Madden Library: The Lethal Beauty Exhibit, a collection of Samurai armor, weaponry and art. The  display  will run from April 8-June 24 in the Ellipse on the second floor of the library’s north tower. The exhibit, on loan from The Clark Center for Japanese Art and Culture in Hanford, contains pieces from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.

Centennial scholarship support sought
The Centennial has brought much positive attention to campus. For those who are considering a gift to Fresno State, the Centennial Scholars fund may be a good choice. By supporting a Centennial Scholar, donors not only pay tribute to Fresno State's centennial, but also will play a key role in ensuring a strong future for our region by investing in tomorrow's leaders. Gifts can be made to the Fresno State Foundation designating the "Centennial Scholarship Program."

Annual giving success
Each December, a multimedia message is sent to alumni encouraging year-end gifts to support Fresno State. This year's video featured Time Out and it attracted the highest response rate yet as numerous gifts were received. In addition, the video garnered top recognition, a gold ADDY award and the category's top "Best of Show" award, from the Fresno Advertising Federation.
