Graduate Studies dean set to retire
Dr. Vivian A. Vidoli, dean of the Division of Graduate Studies at California State University, Fresno for the last 28 years and a nationally recognized leader in graduate education, will retire effective at the end of the 2005-06 academic year. Ag dean to step down after next semester
Dr. Daniel P. Bartell will step down as dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at California State University, Fresno in the spring of 2006, bringing to a close his 14-year tenure directing the university’s acclaimed programs in agriculture. Bartell will remain on the faculty and looks forward to continuing to participate in several initiatives currently under way at Fresno State. He will remain dean of the college during the search for his replacement, and then will be on administrative leave in 2006-07. More...

  Associated Students president elected to statewide post
Associated Students president Jennifer Reimer of Fresno was elected chair of the California State Student Association (CSSA) on Oct. 15, making her the “president of the presidents” in the California State University system, home to more than 400,000 students. “My position requires me to equally take into account the needs of the students at each of the CSU campuses,” said Reimer.
